When can I start oral capsule treatment for my cat?

For  best treatment results, use oral capsules after 30 days of vials treatment or after your cat’s condition has stabilized, eating and pooping normally, and doesn’t display any neurological symptoms.

When not to use oral capsules?

While your cat still exhibits ocular or neurological symptoms or suffers from intermittent vomiting or diarrhoea. If the cat is not eating and requires force-feeding or subcutaneous (SQ) fluid administration.

How to choose the right type of oral capsule for my cat?

Choose the oral capsules according to your cat’s current weight (Every 10mg for 1kg of cat’s weight)

1kg – 1 quarter of 40mg tablet per day

2kg – Half of 40mg tablet per day

3kg – 1 tablet of 30mg per day

4kg – 1 tablet of 40mg per day

(Please round up to the nearerst kg. Please double the dose for Ocular and Neuro FIP)

How many times should I feed the medicine to my cat?

1 time a day, at regular intervals. Do not skip any day. Continue until 84 days or when all FIP symptoms have disappeared.

What should I do if my cat gained weight but the oral capsule that I purchased before is for cats that is below my cat’s current weight?

You should switch to the higher concentration of the oral capsule for your cat’s new weight. For example, if your cat’s weight has increased from 2.4kg to 2.8kg, it is recommended to increase the dosage to suit 2.8kg. This ensures that your cat is provided with sufficient active pharmaceutical ingredients for its treatment.

How many tablets do 1 strip of tablets contain?

One strip contains 10 tablets.

What should I do if my cat does not show improvement after using oral capsules?   Can I give him two pills per day?

Lack of improvement or deteriorating conditions are caused by either insufficient dosage or poor absorption by your cat’s digestive system. You should provide at least 5 days of oral capsules before determining whether there is a lack of improvement. After 5 days if there is no visible improvement of symptoms, you may increase dosage from 1 oral capsule to 2 oral capsules per day, or switch to a higher concentration of oral capsule. The best option is to  switch to vials. Vials are the most reliable method of delivering an appropriate dose of active pharmaceutical ingredients to your cat’s body.

How do I know the amount of GS that my cat will absorb?

Each cat has a different absorption rate for the oral capsule, based on genetics and health factors. The exact absorption can only be determined via a complex and expensive diagnostic procedure called HPLC analysis.

Is Oral capsules a better choice compared to Vials?

Each treatment option has its pros and cons. Both treatment options are effective against feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) infections. Vials are precise and more not subjected to absorption issues. The effects are immediate. We recommend starting all feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) treatments with vials. Oral capsules are easier to administer, cause no pain, and can be done easily at home. However, GS-441524 will take longer to travel to the bloodstream because it first has to go through the digestive system. It is also impossible to know how much of the GS-441524 is absorbed by the body to combat FIPV. We recommend starting oral capsules treatment only after your cat’s condition is stable. Feline infectious peritonitis virus often damages digestive organs such as the stomach, intestines, kidneys and liver as it spreads throughout the body. Damaged organs reduce digestive functions and will cause poor absorption of FipMed into the bloodstream.  When oral capsules are given too early in the treatment, it may cause prolonged treatment or higher chances of relapse in the future.

Can I switch back vials treatment after I started oral capsule treatment?

You may switch back to vials after starting oral capsule treatment.

My cat has relapsed, can I use oral capsules to treat him/her?

We do not recommend using oral capsules for relapsed cases. You should use vials and provide between 12mg-15mg for relapse treatments. Please consult us on how to properly treat relapsed FIP cases.

How long does it take for my cat to show improvement?

Normally cats will show improvement within 10-15 days of oral  treatment. Some cats will show improvement within as little as 5 days.

Why is oral treatment more expensive than vials?

Oral capsules require higher concentration of the active pharmaceutical ingredient GS-441524 to treat FIPV when compared to vials. Production of oral capsules is also more complex and time consuming compared to vial. These factors caused the price of oral capsules to be higher than vial.

Are there any side effects when using FipMed oral capsule treatment?

There are no known side effects when using our oral capsule.  You may use it in conjunction with other treatments and supplements recommended by your veterinarian.

What if I cannot feed my cat oral capsule daily at the same time every day?

For best results the oral treatment should be administered within a 3 hour window from the time of the previous day, 1.5 hours before or 1.5 hours after the previous day.

Can I return unused capsules for a refund?

We do not accept opened and/or partially consumed oral capsule packages. We recommend donate unused oral capsules to your veterinarian or other FIP cat owners so they may use the capsules to help save cats.

(Niels Pedersen NC, 2018).

My neuro FIP boy, Bb, is 1.5 years out of pill treatment and recently started having vestibular episodes (nystamous, head tilt and vomiting). He has had three and he recovers from them in about 8 hours and is normal again. They might be mini strokes, no one seems to know. Bb’s bloodwork never was very telling, just his a:g ratio. Which looks great now and is the highest it’s ever been. Most vets suspect this is residual repercussions from his previously very swollen brain. It’s so stressful! Just wanted to let everyone knows that you aren’t alone. Let’s fight FIP together!

I still cry when I watch the video of my boy Vincent walking for the “first time” it was about 6 days into treatment. It’s been 1.5 years since then. Thank you FipMed!!

Hash got his first pill this morning! Day 1 of 84✅

Despite the uncomfortableness because I know for how bitter a pill could be , Hash reacted only for a short time, I did not enjoy it any more than he did. I have never been so excited to see healthy cat poo in the litter box yesterday, hopefully get will get his appetite back to eat on his own soon🤞🏼

Eggplant Parmesan (Parm) is now 5 weeks into the 12 week FIP treatment protocol and is doing wonderfully!

He is happy, healthy, playing. He has gained three pounds since he started treatment and we are hoping for the best.

He was a sickly baby and it is great seeing him thrive on this treatment.

My cat free from FIP and here’s my advice: For all the owners out there who may face death’s door—- know that this treatment does work and the outcome is 100% worth it every time! No matter how hard the worst days are, I wouldn’t trade it for anything now we get our crazy kitten back.

Verificado

Baby Karma has begun trying really hard to walk, and I’m so happy she semi does and wants to. I can’t wait for her to fully regain and start walking 100%. The FipMed meds worked! & Gabapentin helped with discomfort and some Neuro. The appetite stimulant also worked as she’s beginning to eat on her own. I’m such a proud mama. My baby is a strong survivor who is kicking dry Neuro FIPs butt! & she even started giving me kisses!! we still have a long way to go with how long she will need her meds since we are only on day 5, but baby is going to live.

Verificado

Aurora started treatment on 8/22/23 so today is day 39 of treatment. Almost halfway there. She continues to improve. She’s now racing around the house we are staying in, and badly wants to play most hours of the day

Verificado

Hi all! I just wanted to introduce myself. I’m so thankful Loki came into our lives and I’m heartbroken by his recent diagnosis. I’m 100% optimistic though and I know our brave sweet boy is gonna make it though this rough time! Thank you FipMed for helping Loki!

Verificado

My Publius had ultrasound and blood test . It looks he may have FIP. My other cats in the past were tested and came out positive to feline coronavirus and negative to FIV and FELV. I purchased this meds and started treatment right away. It was costly but definitely worth the result. Will continue to help my kitties and return their health back to normal!

Verificado

It isn’t easy but it is 100% worth it! My Xena was just declared cured earlier this month! The pills are magical for Xena!

Verificado

It’s not easy but it’s doable all cat people out there. And the medications work, even if the process is a bit…umm… unconventional. Plus we have the support of this amazing community, website to help with our journey. We’ll be rooting for everyone! My cat is free now, alive and well !

One of our cats has been diagnosed with wet FIP, she is 1 and a half years old.

She was adopted 10 months ago, so we think maybe she got infected when she was still living in the streets.

We are living in Spain and we are looking for treatment but we don’t know where to start.

The FipMed pills started when a local vet introduced us to this so we give it a try.

I can’t believe my eyes how its health improve in just a few days. Will definitely continue this treatment!

Verificado

My handsome man is officially in observation!!! We really didn’t know if he would make it. He’s strong and playful all day now. Mr Papaya thanks to FipMed pills!

Verificado

Shiloh has been getting her pills twice a day since Sunday 9-24-23. She hasn’t had anymore fluid on her lungs since Saturday 9-23-23. She is eating and drinking but definitely not as much as she was before she got sick. She hasn’t started playing but decided tonight she wanted to sleep in the basement with the human girls. Her pills are hit and miss. It’s amazing the turn around she has done in less than a week and it’s all thanks to the people who recommended FipMed and the parents of all the brave kitties who are fighting FIP.

Verificado

My kitten was very picky when he got FIP. I could only get him to eat churu and not all the time. And baby chicken food, boil it, puree it with chicken broth. He is at day 52 and he’s eating more. It’s exhausting but I suppose everything is worth it with his health getting better and better now because of this pills.

Verificado

This treatment works, and it works well! Trust Fipmed and kitty will get better.

My kitty didn’t get a diagnosis as the vet was rubbish, but I started treatment as I suspected FIP. This was earlier this year.

I started to notice a difference within 3 days when the fluid disappeared.

We had good and bad days but it was mostly positive.

Treatment is different for every cat but it works. Follow the instructions and kitty will be ok.

My cat is now in observations as of 4 weeks ago and is looking well. Playing, eatings, hunting doing everything a healthy kitty should be doing.

Verificado

As a human I detested injection so with my cat, I go out of my way to play, give lots of treats and cuddles to my Boomer so he does not identify me with only the shots. I also change up the way I administer as he ( and we) would become anxious.

So for example today (even though a little earlier than he usually gets it.) I got kitties dinners ready and while he was eating I quick gave his shot. He was not happy so I sat down and rubbed his head with mine while giving him a Chirros .

It is working! He has been seeking me out for cuddles and brings his little toys to play with me!

Verificado

Our cat Ferdinand had neuro FIP and a polyp in his middle ear at the same time. He had tremors (from FIP) and balance issues (probably from both) and uneven pupils (probably from polyp). The uneven pupil size is still sometimes noticeable, but doesn‘t bother him. He is otherwise totally healthy.

Verificado

Ginger gets a squeeze treat while she gets her shot and I also make sure to give them to her when it’s not shot time. We try to make sure we spend time with her, she stays in our room, so we come in earlier at night so we can spend time with her. Sometimes she comes on the bed and sometimes not. Injection can be scary at times but let’s do our best to overcome FIP and help our kitty😊

Verificado

I recently found out about FipMed because I adopted a kitten that we feel has FIP. I did take her to the vet and after a couple of shots she perked up for a couple days, then right back to not eating, feeling lethargic. She goes back to the vet tomorrow for a weigh in m, but I have ordered medication here (mainly in tablets form) for her treatment. I am so thankful to have found this website, because this is my first fur baby with FIP.

Verificado

Today is our 1/2 point in of pills treatments. He finally hit 3lbs and is really growing and filling out. Thanks FipMed!

Verificado

When we got Peaches, I think she may have been sick already but nobody knew. She began deteriorating very slowly from August until early January when she finally began to pass away. Then for the next 3 months we spent giving her FIP injections. It was not until about day 70 in April when her true personality finally began to show. It was like – “wow. It’s so nice to finally meet you, Peaches!” She’s loving, gentle, silly, playful, and slightly weird 😂

But honestly, I never knew her until then. She seemed blah all the time, inactive, lack of personality. Since she’s “woken up” she’s honestly become my best friend 🥰

Verificado

My brat, I mean cat, is sick again. We’re 1 yr post-treatment for wet FIP. Darn virus came back. Heard it’s rare. Yay for us. At least we’re prepared and educated this time. Caught it early so hopefully we’ll kick it for good! Will purchase from FipMed!

Verificado

Today I celebrate Baby Boy’s 1 year FIP Cure Date. ❤ I’m so grateful for his love & for all the people who helped make this possible & love him back. I’ve been a little down recently (I’m ok just life stuff) & he along with Topcat have really been good to me.

Grateful beyond words. Can’t be more thankful for the meds working like a miracle…

Verificado

The only symptom left 1.5 years later is slightly weak back legs but he still jumps and runs and nobody would notice it but me. Is this one of the effects?

Verificado

Hash was diagnosed with FIP recently. He is 3 years old and I’m having a hard time accepting. Steroid eye drops to keep the swelling and inflammation down. Doubling prednisolone to 1.5ml twice a day.

Doesn’t have interest in any food or treats, bought L-lysine & Nurti-Cal but won’t eat it on his own.

Sleeping a lot but still comes to hang out and to the kitchen for breakfast like he’s hungry but won’t eat anything. he still comes to us for attention and wants to go outside but we’ve kept him in. His normal/healthy weight is 11.5 lbs, we are at 9lbs now. His right eye was irritated and swollen first, and has gotten much better but cloudy. The left eye is now swollen but steroid drops seem to help. He still gets around well, jumping and walking normal. Rolls on his back for belly rubs, all the things he normally does. He does have anisocoria(different size pupils).

I feel like if we have caught this early, I would’ve known about this meds earlier, I could’ve done more. But now, his health is somehow improving and we will continue our observation…

Verificado

Bub will be one year CURED in March! He originally had gotten sick with wet FIP very quickly (within a week or so) but after consuming tablets I bought from FipMed YAYYYY his health has been a good progress!

Verificado

Liam’s been cured for a little over 2 years. He has his same spirit back from before FIP BUT we make jokes that he may not be the same because of the FIPmed tablets because hello their body goes through hell. Sooo very minor things is he doesn’t play how his siblings do. He’s more of a lazy player than an agile player. He does not chew his dang food! Like his jaw or teeth or sensitive so 🤷🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️ we make sure he eats good but he likes to pretend he’s a bad ass and eats kibble then proceeds to throw up . Lol he’s a soft foods/ soups guy lol but other than that he is more talkative. FIP gave him a voice .

But you would have never thought he went through that at all

Verificado

Just wanted to share my advice here. Don’t be afraid of injections because for me, my cat Captain now sleeps with kittydad Les Springer though he’s the culprit to do the shots. So, after 200 shots they are inseparable 💕😺

Verificado

I’ve got a sweet 13 month old female whose brother died of suspected FIP in April. She’s got a fever, high blood globulin, loose stool, and a markedly decreased appetite. She’s doing well otherwise but I can see how important it is to act fast and I’m afraid of missing out on a critical window. I bought the emergency pills from a vet and they directed me to this. I’m seeing how it is working so I am buying from here.

Verificado

I recently found FipMed because my mothers cat most likely has FIP.

Her name is Cannoli (yes like the Italian treat ❤️) and is 14 months old.

So I bought the pills because I prefer this than injection and Cannoli has appetite thanks to this!

Verificado

Latte 11th day of treatment, took in the pills like nothing happened😅, her appetite is back now stealing her brother’s food as well 😜 #Latte #isurvivedfip

Verificado

I foster cats with fip through their treatment. Most of them haven’t met me before getting shots and hate me during but afterwards they love me.

My current girl for example is semi-ferral. I did 30 days of injections on her before switching to pills. We are nearing the end of her treatment and she now runs to greet me and rubs against my legs happily.

Verificado

My rescue wanted to euthanize🤦🏽‍♀️. My foster I have had for about 1 1/2 yrs. She loves me and I love her, so we chose to save her with FipMed. She’s now doing Great and We are about 1/2 way there🙏🏼😻

Verificado

Illumie is an older girl. She only started accepting pets when she got sick. Since injections I’m not allowed to pet her anymore but we do other bonding activities, I try to spend an hour a day just sitting with her. So trust me, everything will work if we put in effort with the help of meds and injections to combat FIP.

Verificado

Fritz has continued to blow us out of the water. He’s now within a healthy weight range for his size (10 pounds and growing), has nearly “perfect” bloodwork across the board, and even has had his heart murmur essentially vanish! It is possible that Fritz not only is on track to beat FIP but also be able to remove his HCM diagnosis; Those symptoms and fluids could simply have been a sign of how severe a state he was in. Only time and cardiology follow ups will tell!

Verificado

3 cured for 2 years. No lasting effects. Jimmy has the tiniest head tilt that only my vet can see cos she knows it’s there. I always think pepe and Jimmy are a bit dumb but they may have been anyway 🤣. Wilson has much more going on in his head than them two. Pills work like crazyy

Verificado

We have a semi feral cat that we needed to give shots and eye drops to and he would cringe and hide every time he saw us. It took a while after it was over but now he’s right beside me getting belly rubs. He loves us now but is scared. We just keep loving him and he will always be our baby. Thank goodness I realize the existence of FipMed fast.

Verificado

Bought these tablets to help my furr babyy and our sweet Hannah, officially cured 28 days and counting 🐾💕🐾 Just love these faces!

Verificado

This treatment is his only hope. We followed the treatment/support care to our kitty. Ours had dry Neuro ocular. Was probably hours from death before we could begin treatment. Now he went from 4.9 lbs the past Feb to 13.3 lbs. now and just loves living life!

Verificado

After every shot I’d carry Pepperoni to the couch and give him 2 churus and pet him. It was his safe shot free place. He’d snuggle with me after the churus and everything. Just sharing my advice to those who prefer injection over pills.

Verificado

Just sharing my advice here, though you bought pills, it is best to have your cat gets at least 200 calories in per day. Syringe feed if necessary. And no lysene please! I have gone through this with Middy and guess what she’s stealing my food as usual!

Verificado

Look at my floof!! This makes me so happy to see him so well! Hard to believe what this boy, and I have been through! I can’t believe how Nong and I are stronger than I know, and now Nong being full of life is the result of that! This is the start of many great things, friend! I just know it!!

Verificado

Have had 4 survive it since using this tablet FipMed treatment. One is a 14 year old that had it about 4 years ago. No after effects and everyone doing fine.

Verificado

I am Mom to a wonderful cat who beat this disease 3 years ago by depending on pills and now sleeps happily on my bed every night. He has also been able to resume his career as a CFA show cat.

Verificado

My little Jake is done with his injections this week. At the beginning of his treatment, we ordered about a week of pills but never used them and decided to go with the injections for the full 84 days… although we still have the pills.

Since 6/30, he’s had a shot everyday except for 3 days where we had some complications over the course of his treatment. On those days, we gave him a pill…even though we weren’t sure if that would do the trick.

We are down to his last 2 days of injections and only have 1ml left (his dosage is 1.4ml a day). So technically, at the end of this week he will have missed about 4 days total out of 84. Do you think if we put him on about a week of pills after his shot tomorrow, he’ll be okay? I know some people switch over to pills after 30 days or so and he technically has had a full 80 days of shots…but I just want to make sure since I know the dosage is different for the pills. We have about 11 pills that we could administer.

Is it okay to switch to pills??

Verificado

My prayer warriors will be happy. We definitely had a few scary days at the start. I’m so glad that is in the past. Wishing Nelly all a happy and healthy future!!! P.S. Nelly still owes me a proper date or maybe just a cuddle. FIP was a long fight but we all managed!

Verificado

We got Hester about two weeks before she was diagnosed, so she didn’t really have any relationship with us before we started giving her shots every night.

I think it’s safe to say she’s forgiven us!

Verificado

I switched to pills at the end and no problems. For those who’s afraid their kitties are scared of needles, I suggest you to take pills instead!

Verificado

This girl right here! After 133 days of treatment and 96 days of observation, which was so blissfully uneventful that I missed the actual end at 84 days, Ling Ling has officially kicked FIP’s ass! Thank you for all the prayers and good vibes! She is a living legend and proof that that horrendous virus is no longer a death sentence. 💖💖💖🐾🐾🐾🏆🏆🏆 Oh, and she turned one year old this week! Happy, happy, happy birthday! 🎈🎂🎉

Verificado

The aftermath of injection – I treated my Cat Lucius 6 and a half years ago. He is 12 years old huge and Ginger – Totally healthy… His temperament changed a bit – he got stronger and more defined – still very loving but not taking any s**t from anything or anyone – a good thing xxx

Verificado

Don’t hesitate to start the treatment! Our little guy Skittles went through hell before it was finally diagnosed, we started treatment on pills as soon as we could (thanks to a friend whom also a vet recommending FipMed). Everyone don’t give up on your favourite fur baby! We can beat FIP!

Verificado

My boy Tony I’m hoping to get them healthy soon. Fip is a hard journey but I’m feeding Tony with pills now. Let’s hope it works!

Verificado

My two FIP kitties. Both had ocular FIP. And they wouldn’t eat. The FipMed medication started working very quickly. Good luck everyone!

Verificado

After taking meds, I started to see an improvement in 6 days. Then it slowly started to dissipate in the cloudy eyes. She had some redness left for about a month but then it cleared up completely. I hope everyone is patient about the improvemnet of health.

Verificado

I am very concerned about my Buddy, he is 13 days in still not much improvement…

Verificado

My Luna was diagnosed and started treatment almost a year ago. She had gone limb on me, wouldn’t eat or drink or go to the bathroom, she was like a hot (106.8 fever) noodle in my hands.

She spend the day in the hospital being monitored on a brisk Oct 06th morning and later that night I drove 1 hour each way, to get her medicine and start adding tablets in her food.

She had dry/ocular FIP, a detached retina and barely 7 lbs.

This is her today at a whopping 10.5 lbs, wanting to eat all the time, fighting with her brother Mylo and snaking me awake at 3 am wanting a treat.

I think this will be the scariest roller coaster of my life but the health progress will be sooo worth it.!

My baby took a long time to be able to go into observation. She was in treatment for 133 days and it was really heartbreaking when I found out we needed a long extension. But here we are at the end and it was all worth it. Work closely with the meds instruction. They are our lifeline. They will guide us and get us both through this. The medicine is wonderful and will comfort and reassure you along the way. I know I am in the best place I can be.

My boy Atreyu has been cured for 9 months. He was also diagnosed for Stomatitis at the same time as FIP. He has had now a total of 7 teeth removed. Atreyu is a completely brand new cat. When I adopted him at 9 months old he was ill practically straight away so was always quiet and withdrawn. But now he’s 2 years old finally out of pain and most certainly making up for all the months he had been ill. Full of mischief 😻

My cat was diagnosed a few days ago and started treatment that day thanks to the wonderful group that recommended me this. Within a few hours, Hunny had started to eat kibbles again. It worked!!

My cat take 2 pills a day around 4 pounds. She only do the pills as a treatment. she is doing very good. On 10-4 will be her last day of treatment with pills.

She was very very sick. The vet told be ready she will not make it and she is so healthy and hyper cat that I can not believe how sick she was.

I was so terrified when we got our diagnosis but these pills brought us hope and a fighting chance! Wishing me and kitty all the best 😻

Gary had dry FIP. He’s been cured since July! When he’s not snuggling, he runs through the house like a bull in a china shop 😂. He’s almost 12 pounds now! He’s happy and playful and loves to follow me around the house. You wouldn’t know he was ever sick. ❤️ Thanks FipMed for the aid!

FipMed helped our baby girl go from lethargic and barely eating to her old splunkey self in around 3 days! It’s a beautiful medicine that works miracles!

I had two littermates get FIP. The first was ocular/neuro. She regained her sight and back legs, but remains bladder and fecal incontinent. She doesn’t let that stop her, though, and we’ve adjusted our lives for her. The second kitty had dry and made a 100% recovery with no residual affects at all. Just goes to show how unique that mutation can be and affects each cat differently. We still hope our first girl will come back online (at least bladder-wise) but…she’s been cured over a year so I don’t know. Still, I would save them both again in a heartbeat.

My cat was diagnosed with FIP Saturday so I started with pills treatment but it passed on Tuesday. Vet told us it wasn’t contagious. I have four other indoor cats. Ironically, all but one came down with cold symptoms, but recovered. Should I be concerned?

My cat HATED wet food during treatment. Would not eat wet food. Period. And she’s completely incontinent, so I worried that she wouldn’t get enough moisture. After so much experimentation, I finally found a urinary care dry food she would eat (and has loved since the first time she tried it) and a thick bone broth on the side (along with some supplements to help her urinary tract system). A year after treatment – yes, ONE YEAR she’s finally in good health again!! thanks FipMed!

My Blaze had wet FIP. We are approaching 2 years cured. You wouldn’t know he was ever sick. He is a bit chunky, very playful and very cuddly (but on his terms). Bought the tablets after recommended by a friend and never regret!

Our sweet Casper has been cured for 2 months and still has a little paw tremor occasionally. He had wet neuro FIP. He recently finished a round of antibiotics due to respiratory symptoms after my daughter and her cat moved back home. He seems to have a weaken immune system and is affected by stress, so we may start a supplement per our vet’s advice. But, he is fully of life and loves to play! I got to say the recommendation of FipMed is impressive, never disappoint indeed!

My last kitten passed away before I could even seek treatment, but Serenity is still with us. She’s got indicators via labs that indicate neurological FIP. I quickly bought this to save her. Though the treatment is slow, I am doing everything for Serenity. Please do pray for Serenity!

I rescued my cat from an animal shelter, and she developed FIP 6 months later. She was sickly the whole six months I had her-chronic URI mostly. I treated her with injection, and she has been healthier than the day I got her ever since! We are three years post-cure. 🙂

My sweet boy Cosmo was diagnosed with FIP with fluid around his heart. I was told it was a death sentence and to say goodbye. I randomly searched online for info and came across this page that is giving me hope as I lay in bed sobbing with my sweet boy. My baby Quill couldn’t walk for over a month at the beginning so he’s got some muscle to rebuild. He’s not super strong in those back legs yet. He still slides and slips sometimes when he’s playing with his brother. After injection, his conditions improved.

Riley has been cured for about a month now. He’s totally normal physically, although he’s very chonky. Mentally, he’s the bravest, most trusting cat I’ve ever met. After everything we’ve been through, we have such a deep bond. Currently, he’s training our German Shepherd foster puppy to respect kitties and he’s quite good at it. 😂 When it comes to FIP, everyone should try FipMed cuz it really helps.

Dear Cosmo, you got this, I’m on day 42 of my treatments. My name is DT tell Mom to start getting your shots and make sure she gives you a squeeze up, when she gives you that mean ole shot.

My cat was super picky during treatment. He’d love a new food for one day and then refuse to ever eat it again… I struggled to get him to eat for about the first 6-7 weeks of treatment. Then one day he just started eating again and wanted the same food every day. He’s cured now and quite chonky. Hang in there everyone because hopefully our kitty will get to feeling normal again soon and will eat.

Both my FIP boys put on most of their weight during observation and were deemed “cured” in the spring thanks to the pills. During treatment, I would tell myself: This too shall pass but right now it’s a pain the ass. Everyone don’t give up your cats!

Gizmo had a little cold over the weekend, so that explained some of the numbers concerned me. He already has a followup at a normal vet in a couple of weeks so he can get established at a normal vet (his first appointment needed outside of the vet he saw at his adoption center). He has always been the bigger/stronger brother, so we are hoping it’s less likely for him to develop FIP. I bought the tablets just in case I want to start treatment immediately. I have seen alot of people recommending this FipMed and I wanted to put 100% trust in it. I want Gizmo to get better soon. Please pray for this poor little guy!

My sweet 2yo Matilda “Tilly” has FIP. She’s down two lbs doesn’t want to eat much, is super lethargic, has elevated globulins and proteins, and x-ray shows a large amount of fluid around her lungs.

Going in tomorrow for a Rivalta test to finalize our diagnosis and will then begin treatment ASAP with FipMed!

After experienced injection, the only thing we’ve had long term is bald spots from injection wounds. Other than that our cat, Edward, shows no signs he was ever sick. He’s a snuggle bug. But he does have like 4 little bald spots on him, he had 7 sores at one point. But I still thank that he received injection.

Fighting FIP is not easy! We are on Day 16 of observation and around Day 76 of treatment (we did 119 days) my little girl became PICKY! She would scarf down her food and a few days later she decided she no longer liked it. I was worried sick and felt like I was going to eventually run out of foods because we were switching foods every few days.

One of my friends suggested that I was giving her too many choices. For context, I would give her the same brand but in different flavors so that she could have some variety. My friend told me that maybe giving her a variety was making her picky since there was no consistency. I was able to test my friends theory because she had once decided she didn’t want to eat anymore. I quickly found a couple new foods she was willing to eat and I put the theory to the test.

In the morning I give her a Feline Natural pouch in lamb and king salmon. Her afternoon and evening meals are 59 g of Nulo in turkey and chicken flavor (wet food). She has been eating this exact same combination for almost a month now and has not shown signs of getting bored!

I suspect a part of my kitty’s brain related to sensory is damaged. She gets this weird gag reaction to certain smells which started during FIP and smelling foods she used to enjoy but came to hate. Last night she gagged when I was squeeging the shower

Like why? It’s clean water. It’s not smelly. But she smelled it and gagged. So over the course of 9 months I have a very limited number of foods she loves and will never refuse. So we just stick to that. I tried the buffet before, cooking her food, etc and it was just exhausting. But she’s happy! Honestly though she was very late to show any signs of recovery which finally came at day 70. I didn’t think she was going to graduate in time, but on day 70 it was like a switch flipped 🤷‍♀️

Verificado

I was overwhelmed. I was lucky that there was a pet parent within an hour’s drive that I could buy emergency pills from. You will get thru this day by day. Your baby will respond quickly to the medication. Sending prayers. 🙏🏻🙏🏻

He’s puuurrrfect now & crazy! The only thing that has not gone away is his daily screaming demand for Churu 😅🖤 I support FipMed! It gives him hope and life!!

Verificado

It was a WILD ride. It almost starts off with her beginning to pass away. Then she was stabilized with only hours left to live and suddenly got “better” when starting the FipMed pills. I was NOT convinced it was FIP and ready to stop after 2 weeks. Like I was extremely stubborn and difficult. I thought it was a money grab. It literally took an intervention to get me to believe in what was really happening. So I kept going and Peaches got much worse for almost 3 months – never showing much improvement.

It’s definitely a roller coaster if I type it out with more detail but her thriving is like a gift from God. I couldn’t ask for more. Thank god I started with pills from FipMed!

Macki was deemed cured on June 9th of this year… because of this medicine, the FB admins, and the amazing support from this community. Thank you FipMed and the team that introduced this vials to me!

I’m doing pills and Emma only likes Fancy Feast pate textures – mostly beef. I open the pill and sprinkle it in her food. I run a rescue so always fed her by herself to make sure she was eating. I’m only on week 2 and she’s gained .8 lbs. On days she won’t eat, I bring a few cats beside her to eat at the same time. For whatever reason it helps. If that doesn’t work I zip her in the bassinet and walk away – Check in periodically and she can come out once she’s eaten. So far it’s working. I give b12 shots to help stimulate appetite when a rescue animal won’t eat and I syringe feed it if I have to.
