6x Strips FipMed Tablets x 10 days (for 3kg cats)

$1 ,095.00

FipMed GS-441524 tablets is an effective treatment for Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).

Each FipMed tablet for 3kg cat contains 45mg GS-441524. It is formulated for cats weighing not more than 3kg.

GS-441524 is metabolically stable. However, the absorbed amount will not be fully metabolized after digestion. The estimated metabolized amount is sufficient for both Wet and Dry FIP. Please double the dosage for Ocular FIP and Neurological FIP. Take two tablets instead of one.

Each strip contains 10 oral tablets (10 days of treatment)

We recommend for all affected FIP cats to undergo below treatment protocol:

1. Treatment with daily injection for a minimum of 30 days

2. Followed by daily oral treatment with tablet for the remaining days until day 84

3. Force feeding throughout the duration

4. Subcutaneous drip of Hartmann’s or Lactated Ringers solution

5. For cats in severe condition, we suggest to hospitalise the cats during treatment duration

Vials:

Short Term (30 days or less) store in the ambient temperature of less than 40° Celsius,  away from direct sunlight.
Long Term (30 days or more) store in the household refrigerator between 3°~ 9° Celsius for up to 3 years for vials. Do not store the medicine in the freezer.

Oral Capsules:

Avoid direct sunlight and store at ambient temperature below 40 degrees Celsius for up to two years.

When can I start oral capsule treatment for my cat?

For  best treatment results, use oral capsules after 30 days of vials treatment or after your cat’s condition has stabilized, eating and pooping normally, and doesn’t display any neurological symptoms.

When not to use oral capsules?

While your cat still exhibits ocular or neurological symptoms or suffers from intermittent vomiting or diarrhoea. If the cat is not eating and requires force-feeding or subcutaneous (SQ) fluid administration.

How to choose the right type of oral capsule for my cat?

Choose the oral capsules according to your cat’s current weight (Every 10mg for 1kg of cat’s weight)

1kg – 1 quarter of 40mg tablet per day

2kg – Half of 40mg tablet per day

3kg – 1 tablet of 30mg per day

4kg – 1 tablet of 40mg per day

(Please round up to the nearerst kg. Please double the dose for Ocular and Neuro FIP)

How many times should I feed the medicine to my cat?

1 time a day, at regular intervals. Do not skip any day. Continue until 84 days or when all FIP symptoms have disappeared.

What should I do if my cat gained weight but the oral capsule that I purchased before is for cats that is below my cat’s current weight?

You should switch to the higher concentration of the oral capsule for your cat’s new weight. For example, if your cat’s weight has increased from 2.4kg to 2.8kg, it is recommended to increase the dosage to suit 2.8kg. This ensures that your cat is provided with sufficient active pharmaceutical ingredients for its treatment.

How many tablets do 1 strip of tablets contain?

One strip contains 10 tablets.

What should I do if my cat does not show improvement after using oral capsules?   Can I give him two pills per day?

Lack of improvement or deteriorating conditions are caused by either insufficient dosage or poor absorption by your cat’s digestive system. You should provide at least 5 days of oral capsules before determining whether there is a lack of improvement. After 5 days if there is no visible improvement of symptoms, you may increase dosage from 1 oral capsule to 2 oral capsules per day, or switch to a higher concentration of oral capsule. The best option is to  switch to vials. Vials are the most reliable method of delivering an appropriate dose of active pharmaceutical ingredients to your cat’s body.

How do I know the amount of GS that my cat will absorb?

Each cat has a different absorption rate for the oral capsule, based on genetics and health factors. The exact absorption can only be determined via a complex and expensive diagnostic procedure called HPLC analysis.

Is Oral capsules a better choice compared to Vials?

Each treatment option has its pros and cons. Both treatment options are effective against feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) infections. Vials are precise and more not subjected to absorption issues. The effects are immediate. We recommend starting all feline infectious peritonitis (FIP) treatments with vials. Oral capsules are easier to administer, cause no pain, and can be done easily at home. However, GS-441524 will take longer to travel to the bloodstream because it first has to go through the digestive system. It is also impossible to know how much of the GS-441524 is absorbed by the body to combat FIPV. We recommend starting oral capsules treatment only after your cat’s condition is stable. Feline infectious peritonitis virus often damages digestive organs such as the stomach, intestines, kidneys and liver as it spreads throughout the body. Damaged organs reduce digestive functions and will cause poor absorption of FipMed into the bloodstream.  When oral capsules are given too early in the treatment, it may cause prolonged treatment or higher chances of relapse in the future.

Can I switch back vials treatment after I started oral capsule treatment?

You may switch back to vials after starting oral capsule treatment.

My cat has relapsed, can I use oral capsules to treat him/her?

We do not recommend using oral capsules for relapsed cases. You should use vials and provide between 12mg-15mg for relapse treatments. Please consult us on how to properly treat relapsed FIP cases.

How long does it take for my cat to show improvement?

Normally cats will show improvement within 10-15 days of oral  treatment. Some cats will show improvement within as little as 5 days.

Why is oral treatment more expensive than vials?

Oral capsules require higher concentration of the active pharmaceutical ingredient GS-441524 to treat FIPV when compared to vials. Production of oral capsules is also more complex and time consuming compared to vial. These factors caused the price of oral capsules to be higher than vial.

Are there any side effects when using FipMed oral capsule treatment?

There are no known side effects when using our oral capsule.  You may use it in conjunction with other treatments and supplements recommended by your veterinarian.

What if I cannot feed my cat oral capsule daily at the same time every day?

For best results the oral treatment should be administered within a 3 hour window from the time of the previous day, 1.5 hours before or 1.5 hours after the previous day.

Can I return unused capsules for a refund?

We do not accept opened and/or partially consumed oral capsule packages. We recommend donate unused oral capsules to your veterinarian or other FIP cat owners so they may use the capsules to help save cats.

FIPMed tablets and dosage are formulated based on recommendations from Dr Niels Pedersen:

Wet / Dry FIP Dosage for Tablets:

Tablet Actual GS441524 Content: 15mg/kg

After 60% loss from digestion and metabolization*: 6mg/kg

Ocular / Neurological FIP Dosage for Tablets:

Tablet Actual GS441524 Content: 30mg/kg

After 60% loss from digestion and metabolization*: 12mg/kg

* Oral administration was also found to provide blood levels, but somewhat delayed and only at about 40% peak levels of subcutaneous and intravenous routes. GS-441424 is absorbed from the intestine with about 50% efficiency as subcutaneous or intravenous administration. Given the absorption limitations of oral GS-441524, one would expect the oral dosage to be around twice that of injections. (Niels Pedersen NC, 2018).

Ensure your cat is well fed (force feed if necessary).

Additional subcutaneous fluid daily will help hydrate your cat sufficiently during treatment duration.

Oral treatment can be taken with supplements without Lysine.

Appa is doing perfect!

The lasting side effect is him being scared if I need to do something like cut his nails. I think it reminds him of the syringes. It takes me forever. That’s why I prefer pills 😂

Verified

My Lily has wet FIP and fortunately it was early enough I could start her on pills. On day 17 ultrasound confirmed fluid and inflammation was gone. She is on day 54 now and doing well.

Verified

My cat has been on the FipMed capsules for 2 months. He’s doing well overall and his bloodwork looks good. He has ocular FIP so I’m going to try the GS shots to see if they will help his vision at all.

Verified

Regarding shot or pills, 2.5 years ago generally shots were recommended more than pills. But now I think pills have become more acceptable as more data has been gathered. It depends on your cat. My cat is ok with pills.

Verified

My Tina is 12 days cured. I will never forget the same shady felling when I had to pick up our first meds. It was shady but I can guarantee 100% now, it is not shady AT ALL. The pills are miracles to me

Verified

I have switched the previous meds to FipMed which Milly has been on for 60 days now. And he has done so much betsir. And he is acting like a normal cat now. So we are hopeful to see good blood work when the time comes.

Verified

Good news is my cat’s weight gain, the pills are going in the right direction. At the beginning of treatment, my cat doesn’t eat

I believe pills are bitter hence everyone can try to blend food and syringe feed?

I found pate type food or blended foods mixed with a couple of teaspoons of warm water were ok. My cat lived off lik-e-lix. They are classed as a treat food. The liver, and yoghurt & milk flavours had the most calories.

Little bits of butter or coconut oil helped bring up calories.

I had to hand feed alot, for the majority of the time during treatment and verbally encouraged my cat to eat. Now my cat is eating YAYYY

Verified

Jay was bone thin. We had been struggling for at least two weeks and had come down to a point where he just wasn’t eating anymore and force feeding him wasn’t worth it because he kept dropping weight. He was nothing but bones. So much so that my daughter was even afraid to move him for fear of breaking his bones because there was no fat between us and that. He was sitting in uncomfortable positions and doing what we call the death stare. I knew it was time to put him down. We didn’t even think he was going to make it through the weekend. And at the end of the weekend is when we got our first pill. I fell asleep so I don’t know if it started to work sooner but in only 9 hours flat, he was bright-eyed and pushing himself through the crowd of kitties that were already eating, so he could get at the food. He had not eaten anything in 5 days. So it is not too late for Jay.

My baby boy is beyond 3 months observation and he is alive and healthy. And I can’t help but gush with happiness every time I look at him because I was sure that he was dead. I mean there was nothing left of him. And the treatment even worked then.

Verified

Using injections was recommended, but I have no one to help me with giving them. There is also the fact that the shots are painful and I would have a very hard time with that. My cat seems to be doing well with the pills, so hopefully it will be enough

Verified

I had a very hard time with the injections and it was really difficult for both of us. I found the pills were much easier and less stressful for us.

Verified

This is our cat zac. He’s about a full week into taking FIP treatment in pill form and the results have been amazing so far. We are so thankful for FipMed and for our cat. Thank you.

Verified

I have syringe fed in the beginning with pills, but she hated it so much. Since she is gaining weight, Im just trying to get in the calories by handfeeding. Definitely the lickable churus are well tolerated. Thank you FipMed as always!🧡

Verified

My then four month old kitten had dry and started eating and acting better 12 hours after her first pill (but it may take longer to see results). Today we are on day 45 of (hopefully) 84 and she is amazing. Shiny fur, gained 3.5 pounds, playful, healthy. It’s not always easy, but seeing her renewed health has been all the reward we need. We are over half way done and every day we are a day closer to observation.

Verified

We have this month-old kitten with abdominal fluid by x-ray. He was taken to the vet yesterday and they highly suspect FIP. Right now he is eating well and playful, but we were told no treatment and that it could be days, maybe weeks. I’m glad I took the initiative to give him pills quick. It’s working slowly and we’re hoping for the best!

Verified

Mine had wet FIP and you would never guess it, she’s so healthy and full of energy. The biggest downside is that our relationship never fully recovered because I was the one injecting her 😞 so she’s more scared of me and definitely prefers my fiancé.

Verified

We were told by our vet a week ago that they had trouble with my cat bleeding after they did a fine needle aspirate and that he is anemic. We chose the pill for for those reasons. He is doing well on the pills and we want to keep him on them for the duration of treatment. It is crazy how our legend has turned around so quickly. Thank you FipMed!!

Verified

Ooops, my little girl is just over two. She had rather a lot of teeth removed at 15 months, more than likely the beginning of her FIP journey. Cured 7 months and no inflamed gums. Full of energy and and absolute snuggle love bug. Treated with pills in the UK, could not do injections, the vet struggles to take blood.

Verified

My Oliver is on day 43! So we started the treatment on pills! He just got labs back yesterday he’s looking good! He has had a few sores. One right now is pretty nasty as he tore the scab off. But we are getting through it! Our babies are doing great!

Verified

My sweet girl Jellybean is on her 21st day of injections and is doing great! She lost her vision a few weeks ago and had intermittently lost the use of her legs. We immediately started treatment and after only 4 days her vision and mobility returned. At this point I would say her energy and temperament has returned to normal and she has fully recovered physically.

I am so grateful for FipMed!!

Verified

My kitten Dexter who is a 6 month old Maine Coon with FIP wet 🐾💔 Though it’s painful, my Dexter’s health has been improving since day 1. We’re day 30 now and pills work miraculously well!

Verified

I have a 7 month old kitten named Beans and she is on day 60 of 84 days of treatment. She’s originally had dry, then, wet, then neuro, then dry again. She now even after 60 days has a mass in her stomach that has gotten bigger but also the fluid has not gone down. I’m very worried we may be looking into the wrong diagnosis or something is missing. Is this because of the meds?

Verified

Dexter is day 6 of FipMed 40mg and it appears the abdominal fluid has reduced as it’s not as prominent, is wobbly and palpable- not as solid as before ❤️🐾

Verified

There IS a cure – i started 3 at 6 weeks old and today they are celebrating 3 months cured … being a small baby, he does have a chance .. he has us to advocate and treat him, and I have FIPMED for support ❤️❤️

Verified

I’ve gotten through the first week of Kobe’s treatment! Pills started 9/22/23 and we have a long way to go. We’ve quickly realized just how costly these pills are going to be for 3 months but we ain’t giving up! We would love for Kobe to be able to beat this!

Verified

I’m here to spread positivity! Feed whatever your cat will eat plus medication (put them in their food, they wouldn’t know)! Dry neuro here and he ate after 3 days. Closer to 3 week turn around for us 🥰 You got this.💞

Verified

Both my cats’ personalities changed and their interests changed during and after treatment. They are going through so much, and are experiencing such inner turmoil that it’s not surprising to think that as they start to feel better, they might go through more outer changes. Along the way, my two became more “alive” and vibrant and their true selves emerged. I’m glad that I somehow notice the existence of these pills

🥳🥳🥳 Today, after 105 days of treatment, Puff has been graduated. It was a long and stressful journey, but definetly worth it. I want to thank from all my heart to FipMed and you are Puff’s angel! I am really glad that i found this website meds on time, and Puff received a second chance to live.🙃

Verified

I am concern, my Buddy’s eyes still haven’t cleared up after Day 7th. Today we are in Day 8th. Buddy is a big boy 16.5lb, 7.5 yrs. May I ask how soon for your Ocular baby to regain the vision?

Do you think Buddy just needs more time to heal Ocular FIP? I am worrying……. I hope this pills work faster for Buddy 🙁

Verified

I switched to pills early on as I struggled with injections. My kitty was also whole at the time and he was flipping aggressive and strong.

I found pills to be better as they were easier to administer with a little treat.

Pills are generally given once a day and the amount depends on the cats weight. It’s multiple pills because they come in sizes of 1,2,4 and the amount needed varies depending on the cat’s weight and need. The cat needs to fast for 30mins before and after the pills are given. I did leave it for an hour each way sometimes.

We had to extend treatment by one month but that is because we had some issues at the beginning of treatment. Now in observations and doing well x

Our new baby Rhubarb (new bff with our dog Willow) We’ve had her for about 3 weeks since adopting her from a local rescue where she lived with 2 mother cats and 2 litters of kittens in a fairly small room.

Rhubarb is sweet and cuddly and a little quiet for a 4.5 month old kitten. She’s been to the vet today and had bloodwork as I’ve thought something wasn’t quite right. She’s moderately playful and curious but has had some very sleepy and quiet spells. Shes got no jaundice and her temp is normal today. No signs of abdominal swelling. She’s not a big eater and seems very finicky for a kitten (I’m used to them eating and eating). She eats about ⅓-¾ of wet food that I serve if I’m lucky over a few hours. She nibbles on kibble without much interest. She’s only gained 135g in 15 days. My vet looked a little worried when we expect good results. Turned out it was FIP and I came across this FipMed website. The vials have been really helpful and I will continue with the shots till it gets better!

Verified

Mine went from 7lbs when he started treatment to 13lbs when he was done and 2 years later weighs in at 18lbs…and it’s like he was never sick. Really wonderful pills!

Verified

Legend Parm is rocking the treatment! He is doing extremely well. Halfway there! Thanks FipMed!!

Verified

My girl was so sick and after 4 days of treatment she was seemingly recovered! We’re on day 21 and her personality is back. Do the treatment! It’s intimidating… I know… but it is 100% worth it. It’s your baby’s only chance

Verified

It is important that you jump in ASAP to start treatment. I myself was in disbelief and nervous about trying. But the medicine works and you can do this! it is important to get started ASAP because FIP can move quickly. Don’t let the cost deter you… start small with a couple pills… And you will see the difference in probably a few weeks!

Verified

I switched at day 19. It was switch or not get the boy medicated. It was not a failure. My expenses went up significantly (almost $30/day to over $42) but he’s better for it. The stress impacting us all has reduced so dramatically. It is a trade off. Not just the money but the timing. Remove food/water for an hour, pills, another hour return food/water. It’s a commitment.

Verified

My experience and my opinion are different from most, but the pills weren’t that much more and sooooo much easier. The pain and anxiety of shots turned my cat against me and changed his personality. Everyone has their reasons they always prefer shots but after about 69 days I went against advice and changed to pills, so much more pleasant!!!

Verified

The meds effect – My poor baby’s sores healed, but the hair never grew back. He has several bald spots on his back. It doesn’t matter though. He’s alive and well and that’s all that matters!

Verified

Our cat had dry/neurological FIP. We finished his treatment about 6 months ago. He is completely back to normal and is healthy except he has some lasting neurological damage from the disease. Sometimes he walks in circles or his eyes shake. But other than that, he is perfectly healthy and happy!

Verified

Artemis has only been cured since mid July, but so far at least you wouldn’t know she’d ever been sick. She weighs 10 pounds, eats like a champ, is super playful and snuggly.

Verified

My boy, Zonker. He was diagnosed at 7 weeks old. His belly was so wide, he waddled. He turned 3 years old this past June and is now healthy, happy and a bit chonky. FipMed is a blessing. I know I am in the right place. ❤️

Verified

Snappy D is shocked to discover that he’s at his halfway mark (fingers crossed), Day 42 with FIPMED injection treatment. He celebrated with his favorite meat tube Ciao as well as a smorgasbord of chicken offerings! So proud of my good boy!

Verified

I am always afraid that tablets arent always appropriate for some cats with tummy problems but it worked for my cats. My cats on day 76 and we’ve done all pills, as daunting as it was my cat has been an absolute superstar with them, he’s very tolerant with a bit of churro bribery.

Verified

The progress over just ONE WEEK!! We started last Tuesday. We have such a long road for us ahead however it brings me so much joy to see him doing better. Thanks to those pills!

Verified

seems like everyone elses cat hops right on the treatment and eats like a champ. Please tell me after treatment your kitty went back to eating from a bowl at least? 😩 Why my cat is so picky after treatment? Is it because of some side effects?

Verified

I’m in BC and I was fortunate my friend was within an hour of my house. I was able to purchase emergency vials from them. My Aby had fluid removed from his lungs a few times. Oliver’s has been cured for a year and a half. I am so great full for FIP Cats and Krista and Elaine. I’m thankful for every day I have with him. ♥️

Verified

We have finished our first week of pills and oh my has it been an emotional roller coaster, but I wouldn’t change a thing. Walter is doing so good with his pills. I’m so glad we chose to give him the chance to fight, instead of putting him down like our vet recommended.

Verified

Leo was suspected with FIP so we got him on meds right away, the shots really helped my Leo. He was a stray and we took him in and found out he had dry FIP. He is doing so much better. It only took days to see the difference in him. I give him a buffet of food so he can eat whatever he wants.

Verified

Sedonia is a rescue from Cyprus and it all started back at easter when her tummy ballooned up one afternoon. They wanted to put her to sleep. The injection treatment wasn’t easy but you have to keep going with it. She now has a few weeks left of her observation before she can be declared cured. There is hope and very soon I will be able to say she is a FIP survivor 🐾❤️

Verified

My little boy was on deaths door. I luckily finally got diagnosis for him as he was starting to not walk…. he wobbles now but is always playing and chasing his fur brothers and sisters.

Verified

FIP is a disease of inflammation. Feline enteric coronavirus (FECV) usually infects cats in the intestines, as is reflected in the name. While most cats are not sickened by FECV, in some the virus will mutate. Most kitties can fight off the mutated virus, too, but some who have impaired immune systems will develop FIP. When the intestines are inflamed, cats may not be able to absorb all of the meds orally. Therefore, it’s much safer for most cats to start with injections– when you inject, your cat will get the benefit of all of the meds you successfully injected. There’s no way to be certain that pills will be as effective and there’s individual variability between cats in their ability to absorb meds orally, so everyone has excellent reasons to advise injections over pills in the beginning of treatment. Also, most brands of pills cost significantly more than injections and that difference is not trivial for most folks. It depends on everyone. I personally still support both since I switched to pills because it was difficult for me to inject Melody.

Verified

We had the most heartbreaking stressful 10 days getting the diagnosis and figuring out what treatment to try then second guessing our choices and worrying it wouldn’t work. Then meds didn’t arrive overnight as planned but literally day 2 she started to improve. I am certainly happy with how FipMed is working and believe for your cure!

My 10 month old munchkin kitten was diagnosed with FIP (dry and ocular) so I ordered the FipMed pills here. My munchkin’s health has been getting better now!

Verified

My TInkerbelle got Fip feb 2021. She’s now fully recovered and living her best life. I have been giving her pills from FipMed and you now it’s working on Tinkerbelle. Thank you FipMed!!

Verified

I treated my cat earlier this year, when he had suspected FIP. He is now successfully in observations.

My cat lost his appetite within a few days and it was only towards the end of treatment that he started to eat properly again.

The treatment works well, but this process can be tough at times. I’m really thankful of FipMed!

Verified

Most of the kitties that I have seen switch to pills have done well but I have seen some start to relapse. Every kitty is different. If there are any problems pills are not a good choice because there can be absorption problems and that is also why it is recommended that everyone does at least 30 days of injections. I switched my very difficult to inject kitty to pills at 31 days and honestly I wish I hadn’t because with injections you can be certain of the amount of meds getting into their system. But that being said, it’s better to get the meds in them than not and she was actually officially cured yesterday.

If you do switch, make sure you follow instructions religiously. No food at least an hour before and after pills. It’s all about absorption and you don’t want to do anything to interfere with that. My kitty was very easy to pill. I put a tiny pill sized dot of churu on a plate, then the pill then another dot of Churu on top. She had a very high dosage and there was no problem getting her to eat multiple pills like this. If that doesn’t work, some people wrap the pill up in a piece of a pill pocket.

Verified

I have had two cats with dry FIP and 1 cat with wet FIP (two survivors and my foster kitten currently in treatment) the symptoms def varied for each but one thing I saw across the board was loss of appetite and lethargy. It’s somehow best to depend on injection. That truly helps.

Verified

Our little Luna was 5.1 lbs when we started and she was wobbly and lethargic. Now she’s in observation and 7.5 lbs! This medicine is a cure through and through! 😻

Verified

I had a neuro kitty that we switched to pills because his skin needed a break. Unfortunately the only thing available was 30 mg, and 40 mg. He was on such a high dose and was getting multiple pills at a time, was not allowed to eat with them either. It was worse than doing the shots . Also, it was highly recommended to try and make it at least 30 days on injections before considering switching

Verified

2 years ago we got the devastating news that our 5-month-old kitten had a fatal disease. Our vet pointed us to the brand, FipMed, we started treatment and now two years later he’s a healthy chunky boy. Since that day we have now adopted 4 other FIP kitties and have helped several others from start to finish.

Verified

My cat is picky during treatment. It’s the disease it does something to their appetite 😔, and makes them feel nauseous. I think that’s why they struggle. They do want to eat.

I was so stressed and cried at times because he was so uninterested at times.

GOOD NEWS! The appetite does come back and they do start eating properly.

He still likes to be handfed at times which is kind of adorable now that it’s a choice.

If the Churus are doing well (I think they are like the lik-e-lix) just give those, just get the weight to keep going up. It’s a short term thing and once cured they do eat as they did before.

I had to extend treatment by month. Two weeks in, my cat started eating properly by himself and was asking for more food. I think I knew then that he was on the way to being cured. Don’t worry they do start eating properly again x

Verified

You only have to withhold food 30’min prior and I gave my kitty the two pills once at night, wrapped in pill wrap it took 30 seconds. He never whined, hissed or not like he does w shots. Thank goodness I chose pills!

Verified

My cat got worse on day 5 so we started twice a day pills. By day 11 he was noticeably better. By 15 days the ophthalmologist said his uveitis was almost resolved. We were also using prednisolone up until the ophthalmologist allowed us to wean off. Hang in there everyone, all cats are different. We just need to believe in ourselves and believe in our kitty! They’re working hard and so are us!

We are on day 42, we did shots for 21 days. I made myself sick just thinking about it. We did switch to pills which for me has been easier. Molly takes them like a champ. She still has s a few left over sores from the shots but that’s just a reminder. I admire those that can to it the whole time. IT’s not easy And it’s not cheap. But better then the alternative. So glad And grateful for this life saving FipMed.

I always thought I was a dog person until a neighbour’s cat started wandering into our Mexico house and spending time with me. Our neighbour got mad and ordered me never to let his cat into my house, so that’s when I knew I had to have my own. Guapito was rescued by a friend from a garbage bag on the street in Mexico with his two siblings — they were six weeks old. Guapito has a bum hind leg which is a congenital deformity, and my heart went out to him. Within hours he was mine. Ten months later, he got FIP, and I jumped through miraculous hoops getting the meds down to our little town at the bottom of Mexico. In two months, he’ll be two years cured. Meanwhile, another stray cat wandered into our Mexico house and decided to adopt us. We couldn’t resist! I’m so crazy in love with my cats I can’t even put it into words. (My husband is too.) I never dreamed this would happen to me, but they have captured my heart utterly. I still love dogs but I’m a through-and-through cat lady now.

This treatment really works! My Tade’ was on the verge of death 2 years ago and now he is fine! You have come to the right place!

My kiddo was officially cured in June, you’d never know by looking at him that he was sick with anything ever. He does have 2 little spots missing hair still from abscesses that had formed, but that’s all that remains from treatment. Injection really helps!

I have a 3 year old MN domestic short hair named Cheddar who had a sudden onset of lethargy and loss of appetite over the weekend. Radiographs yesterday showed suspected abdominal fluid, which an ultrasound today confirmed. The abdominal fluid was tapped today and submitted today to Idexx for PCR testing. Albumin:globulin is 0.3. I am thinking it is FIP so I bought after reading reviews here. I am positive the pills will help my kitty! please root for me and Cheddar!

I have a four month old kitten who has FIP. Going back to animal hospital now to get a blood panel done. I also bought the pills to try on my kitty. Hopefully it is effective!

We did 85 days of injections. A month into observation Ginger relapsed. We went to pills because we couldn’t take any more stress from the shots and Ginger’s skin could not take anymore injections. It was expensive and hard (she bites if you mess with her mouth) because we had to pillpop 3-4 pills 2x a day for 86 days this time. It got into a routine after each pill we’d give her a small lick of churu. She loves churu so much, she eventually tolerated the pill popping just to get her churu licks. She would meow and let us know when it was time for her pills just to get her churu. She did well on the pills, maybe because it was a higher dose. She ate like a horse, it seemed like the pills contained appetite stimulants, she ate so much, just like a kitten, I had to keep her away from my other cats’ food. She calmed down a bit after the pills were done, but she still loves to eat. Anyway, the pills were a godsend. It was annoying to make sure she fasted for an hour before the pills and watched her for an hour afterward to make sure she didn’t throw them up (she did throw up one time). Now she’s almost a month cured. I highly recommend pills over shots if its feasible.

My baby, Czarina, remains fecal incontinent from neuro FIP. Cured in 2021. Bloodwork always perfect. Appetite great. Not perfect, but perfectly alive and loving!! Thank you FIPMed!

You won’t lose him if u start treatment. I have a neuro fip legend who couldn’t walk when he started treatment. Now he is a normal cat. Huge thanks to FipMed injection to my kitty!!

My cat is on 1 pill a day 40mg FipMed – day 6 and seems to be helping him already

My Lucy girl was 14 months when we suspected FIP. This meds and my admins from FB got us all in the right track to treatment and have been a huge support. She is now almost halfway through observation and doing amazing.

Snowy has been declared CURED from FIP. He is our FIP Warrior and Survivor!! We cannot thank our friends, family, treatment team, and everyone else who supported us and him. He had 101 days of treatment for Dry/Neuro/Ocular FIP and just completed his 84 days of observation. My heart is overflowing with love and gratitude.

Thank god I caught it early that it was FIP. However, I don’t think my cat has been as bad as some I’ve seen on sites and I am grateful for that. It breaks my heart to see her and all the kitties sick with it. She eats pretty well until she gets a fever which is normal but we need to keep her hydrated.

We had a foster kitten. It took at least a couple months maybe longer for it to graduate from FIP. I am still waiting. Thank you FipMed as always!

We have only treated for the first 6 days. And are giving pills. 1 pill every 12 hours. We had immediate incredible improvement. I put a dab of coconut oil on a plate and sink the capsule in it. Ginger eats it no problem. When we were trying to hold her and making her take it she hated it and spit it out repeatedly. Now she thinks it’s a treat. we didn’t consider shots. She was only about 2.75 pounds so very little muscle for shots. Very happy with her condition and with the meds.

Buddy and I are at Day 7, I would like to say we are new starting with the injection treatment. However Buddy suddenly felt very legthry, sniff neck and closed both eyes yesterday, just like back to Day 1. Anyone here have a similar experience in the beginning stage of treatment? Are we able to get over it and back to normal in a few days?

our 6 yo Maine Coon. They had originally suspected pancreatitis but now def thinking fip. He has neuro signs and fluid. Has had 3 days treatment from FipMed. It shows a drastic contrast after Coon ate the pills. Health has been improving since!

Maxwell Jr is fully recovered and a delightful boy. He sleeps most of the day and practices parkour for most of the night. This is deemed like a cartoon.

I was distraught because she was my little baby then hated me during shots treatment. But now, three years later, she is more loving than ever. Just hang in there everyone. It’s worth it in the end honestly xx

My Bella had her tummy drained twice before we realised it was FIP. I was told later it was a bad idea but luckily Bella got on treatment from FipMed quickly and is still here 3 years later.

It’s such a relief seeing our kitties responding positively to treatment. ❤️🐈‍⬛❤️

I saw gradual improvements with both ocular and neuro. It took weeks to see a big difference in either of them. It is more difficult for the medicine to pass through the brain barrier or the eye barrier from what I understand. I changed to this brand and switched to pills from injection. Minowy was considered critical for the first three weeks when he was undergoing treatment. However, neither of us gave up and look at them now! All thriving!

I switched to pills about 3/4th of the way through. There’s no way I could have been able to afford it sooner though. They brought me sanity though for sure. It was sooo much easier to give than the shots… but definitely tons more expensive.

Verified

I’ve been treating my boy for 2 months and he has ocular FIP. So far, not much improvement 😪 I’ve read it can take a lot longer with neurological and ocular FIP. I just hope the pills work faster for my boy… nevertheless I won’t give up!

Unfortunately Tai tested positive for FIP and to make it worse he is in a critical state (currently unknown if its solely FIP doing all the damage we’re seeing). He was taken to an emergency vet this past Sunday, because he was having trouble breathing. And we were lucky enough to be able to start his FIP treatment the following day due to amazing people that were recommended to me by my veterinary doctor.

He seems to be getting better since starting his treatment and while being in the care of doctors 24/7 since then. So hopefully this upward trend continues!

Mine take some time for the eye to heal after consuming pills. My baby had trouble all through treatment, but his eye finally healed.

I switched to pills in the fifth week. I would dab some churro on them and he ate them up. It was more expensive but worth it to us to relieve the stress, plus we were paying our vet a small fee every day for giving him the injections. My kitty has been cured for 1.5 years now.

My Chloe, cured for 6 months now, and I are rooting for everyne. We’ve got this

My boy started out with his health declining. Not so great for two weeks then got better and now cured so hang in there, everyone. Trust the pills, trust your cat and everything will be fine!

I switched my cat to pills after 11 days. It was just one pill a day, not sure why some require more. She did great on the pills. She’s just finishing her observation period and assuming her final blood work is solid, she’s a success story. I

Leo wasn’t eating, basically. And he was lethargic. The vet thought it was pretty serious, from the ultrasound, and operated immediately. Took him a few weeks to recover, and he’s been on a stool softener ever since, but he’s doing just fine with the help from the meds. I was worried about a relapse from FIP, but his bloodwork looked fine. I’m truly grateful.

Suki was getting prednisone drops 3 times a day in addition to her pills. It took about 2 weeks to see clear eyes and longer for the blooms and color variation to get back to normal. I believe in the pills!

We got through FIP with Lucky tablets! Our boy would never have tolerated injections! He is now cured for 14 months! It is so expensive but so worth it!

Our foster cat Waz was basically immobile and incontinent due to neuro FIP. He is cured over a year and living a most amazing life now. Thanks to increasing dose or even twice daily injections to kick start healing!

Verified

We, too, have an engine kitty, but he traveled only 100 miles. 🙂 Then we were called to help because of FIP. Meet Tsunami….6 yrs after his travel excursion…living his best life and aptly named! Thanks FIPMED!

We didn’t pick Peaches up much during the treatment phase and if we had to we would only touch her chest and belly area. But she completed her last injection in April and she still loves to be picked up and carried. Nothing really changed with that

Buddy and I were doing 100% pills treatment. Hope it works well with the post ourselves!

Mon is on gabapentin, but developing a tolerance to it and when it wears off she will not let me touch her back. She’s completely normal in her self apart from the pain.

She angrily licks and bites her churu after the injections 🤣
